Plandroid version 4.0.3 has now been released. This is a major release, with an upgraded user interface, a complete automatic design feature, full plan image editing capabilities, the ability to view multiple levels to align penetrations, a new draw dimension tool, the ability to save PDFs in the Plandroid save file, plus lots more.

Plandroid version 4.0.3.0 is now available for download. You can also upgrade from Plandroid with the menu item Help -> Check for Updates, or the program will automatically upgrade if you are using the default upgrade settings.

Highlights in this version:

The program has an "Automatic Design" tool which lays out a complete initial design completely automatically with optimally sized ducting and outlets.
There are tools for doing basic editing of floor plan images: cropping, cutting, doing fine rotations and changing the opacity of the floor plan image.
For multiple story buildings, levels can be overlaid on each other so that penetrations between levels can be accurately aligned.
There is a new tool for adding dimensions directly to a design.
Plan levels can be added, removed, renamed and reordered directly in the Design page.
The design page has a snap-to grid.
PDF plan images can now be embedded in a Plandroid save file.
The Options have been expanded to allow the user to set colours, fonts, and many other settings.
Rigid ducts can now be connected to flexible ducts.
The symbols catalogue now has a range of basic electrical symbols, domestic appliance symbols, plumbing symbols, and furnishing symbols.
More catalogues have been added: AirPlus, Bradflo, VicAir and Kirby units plus Demo catalogs in Imperial units.
