Plandroid version 4.3.2 has now been released. This version lets you overlay lower levels and add penetrations, gives you complete control over which parts show their labels in the design canvas, lets you hide all labels with a new toolbar button, and lets you clone your program settings from one machine to another. Plus there are many usability improvements, and catalog upgrades. Upgrade to the new version now!
Plandroid version 4.3.2.0 is now available for download. You can also upgrade from Plandroid with the menu item Help -> Check for Updates, or the program will automatically upgrade if you are using the default upgrade settings.
Highlights in this version:
- You can set the "Show Label in Canvas" property of any part in the Design -> Parts catalog, which determines the default Show Label property of any part added to the design canvas. In some cases this may result in the labels of parts in loaded files changing their display state, but this can be easily modified via the context menu item "Show Label".
- The Design page has a new "Hide Labels" toolbar button.
- Program settings can be cloned from one machine to another with Tools -> Program Settings -> Import and Export. This includes catalog favourites and hidden items, all reprice files, the catalogs selections, all report template files, and all options settings.
- When using multiple plan levels, the Show Lower Level toolbar button now has a drop-down slider bar for dynamically setting the opacity of the lower level overlay.
- You can now toggle the snap-to functionality on and off.
- Bulkheads can now have their individual colour and hatch style, set with their context menu controls.
- Zone labels have an option to use background panels, to help them stand out against a busy floor plan image.
- Additional lengths can now be added to ducts to account for connections, as well as "gooseneck" bends, and bends on risers and penetrations. These are specified under Tools -> Options -> Design -> Flow Calcs -> Duct Add Length.
- The integration with SimPRO is now smoother and more powerful.
- Many catalogs have been updated.
Have a careful read of the release notes in the ReadMe.txt file in the distribution for a complete list of new features and changes.
